mel gibsons latest outing as an ageing detective, havnt seen him play that character before.
pretty poo film. they try and make a modern intresting conspiracy theory in the film and fail. you dont get information you need or want so its too complicated, then when somethen comes to life or is revealed your like, yer w.e i dont even care, what does that mean. no mystery or suspense just non-sensical stuff happening with no explanation.
thers a gud bit 4 mins in then a good but at the end but both bits are seconds long.
then some more stupid action, he meets an infromant and a hitman turns up to kill both of them. these guys are ment to be professional and organised and hes after them cause they killed his daughter (major mistake already cause a goodhit man would of killed mel aswel).
so how does the hitman attempt to kill the informant and mel. drive up park next to their car and unleash 32 rounds of hot lead into their car. maybe just get out of the car, walk up to the window and blam 2 hedshots. ... no!
he waits for the informant to get out the car and runs her over, then turns around cause for some reason eh knows mel is also goa get out the car(why, surely safer in car) he then trys to run down mel, i mean he most of got his hitman degree from school from morons, worst hitman ever!
then tehrs mels boston accent, i dont know if its good or bad as an accent but what i do no is mel doesnt have a boston accent so he defo shouldnt be doin it. its bad enough english actors like sean bean and ray winston doing american accents but at least we understand that. they need to because of the amercan film industry. but mel dont need to do shit and its no great acting performance like leo di caprios south african accent in blood diomond its just pointless.
he should just stick to the sexism and racism, seems to be what hes good at.
ray winston btw, dont even no what he was doin in the film, who is he, what washe doin there. the best bit is his bit and he doesnt got alot of screen time.
all in all you want a good conspiracy film go with state of play, you want a good ageing detective film, lethal weapon 4 or die hard 4
